The North Reading Fire Department is urging all residents and businesses who’s systems, alarm systems, and/or services rely on cellular 3G service to begin to plan ahead for alternate service due to the cessation of cellular 3G, according to the FCC. If any of your systems use 3G service, please be sure to check with your provider and refer to the FCC guidance here: plan_ahead_for_phase_out_of_3g_cellular_networks_and_service
