Chief Don Stats is pleased to announce that firefighter Brian Nash has been promoted to Captain.
Nash was promoted to Captain on Friday, April 26. He began his duties as Captain of Group 4 on Saturday, April 27.
Nash has been a member of the North Reading Fire Department since July 1, 2010. He has been a dedicated member of the Department for 14 years, most recently serving as a firefighter in Group 4.
Nash’s father, retired Fire Capt. Rick Nash, was a member of the North Reading Fire Department for 44 years. He retired in 2018.
“Congratulations to Capt. Nash on this well-deserved promotion,” said Chief Stats. “I would like to thank Capt. Nash for his 14 years of dedicated service to the community. I look forward to seeing him succeed in his new position and I am excited to see what he accomplishes.”
