NORTH READING – Chief Don Stats and the North Reading Fire Department are pleased to announce that firefighter Michael Tannian has been promoted to Captain.
During a swearing in ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 6, firefighter Michael Tannian was promoted to Captain.
Capt. Tannian has been a member of the North Reading Fire Department for 31 years. He began his career as a call firefighter in 1992 and become a permanent member of the department in 1998.
During his time at the department, Capt. Tannian had the special opportunity of watching his two sons, Jason and Liam, be sworn in as members of the North Reading Fire Department.
“I want to congratulate Capt. Tannian on this accomplishment and thank him for his commitment and dedication to the fire service,” said Chief Stats. “I look forward to seeing Capt. Tannian in his new role and I am excited to see what he accomplishes next.”
